Company:

Buca di Beppo of Eden Prairie

Program:

Sell tickets for a buffet dinner on a Sunday afternoon (1:00-4:00).  Players worked as busboys/girls.  Sell raffle tickets for gift baskets and/or host Silent Auction.

Earning Potential:

$5 or $5.50 profit per ticket sold
Raffle and/or Silent Auction profit also possible

Contact:

Mike Herstine, Buca di Beppo, 952-934-9463

Notes:
One EPSC team made $1022 in profit from the dinner and $122 in raffle ticket profit.

Take reservations for the seating times (the players take a cell phone with them while they are selling and call the "reservation manager" from the team for the ticket buyer and setup a seating time).  Can seat 60 people every half hour.  With 3 hours of serving we could seat 360 people/15 players equals 24 ticket allotment per player.  If you sell more tickets you can increase both the hours and the number of seats.

Buca gets $8.00 per dinner.  If we sell the tickets for 13.00, we would get $5 profit X 24 tickets = $120 per player plus more if ticket buyers don't attend meal.  If players bus and reset places, Buca will drop price by .50 (to 7.50 per diner), increase profit to $132 per player.

When players are selling tickets, they can take donations if buyer doesn't want to attend dinner.  There will be other patrons in the restaurant.

We are welcome to sell other items for team funds -- candy bars, pie coupons, ornaments, jewelry, T-shirts, etc.  Other restaurant patrons may also purchase.  Mike Herstine highly recommends a silent auction to go with the meal, he has seen this be a real money maker for groups.

Company:

Outback Steakhouse of Eden Prairie

Program:

Sell tickets and host a dinner provided by Outback Steakhouse.  Sell raffle tickets and/or host silent auction.

Earning Potential:

$10-$20 per ticket sold, depending on type of meal, plus Raffle or Silent Auction profits

Contact:

Chris French, Outback Steakhouse owner, 952-946-1480

Notes:
You can host an event at a church, or school, or anywhere there is a kitchen to use.  Outback Steakhouse will provide all the food at NO COST TO YOU.  Example of a typical meal would be Steak and/or chicken dinner with potato, caesar salad and dessert.   Athletes sell tickets ahead of time and charge $10-20 per person (depending if potato or dessert is served).

Drinks are not provided, so water can be served, or purchased by the group.  Athletes would bus tables and serve the buffet line as well as clean up.   Requires at least a month of planning/selling tickets but great profit potential!  A typical time of serving would be 6:00-7:30 on a week night.  A raffle or silent auction could be included with this event.

Company:

Applebee’s of Eden Prairie

Earning Potential:

Approximately $5 per ticket sold for Pancake Breakfast.
10% of proceeds for Dine to Donate Program.

Contact:

For Dine to Donate Program, the team hands out flyers to invite people to eat at the restaurant.   The event is held a few days out of the week, and anytime during the day. People bring in the flyer and 10% of proceeds go back to the team.

Earning Potential:

Cake Program--$5 per cake sold
10% Night Program--10% of all proceeds during 3 hours.
Custard Cart Program—$150-$200 if one tub is used at $4 per cup

Contact:

Kevin Hart  952-253-1081

Notes:
For the Custard Cakes program, team members sell 9 inch cakes at $20 each.  They will fill out a 3 part form, which will be given to the customer, organizer, and Culvers.  Culvers will then order the cakes and customers can bring the form in to Culvers within a couple of weeks to pick up their cake.

For the 10% night, a three hour timeframe is scheduled.  The team promotes it by sending an email to the club, and handing out flyers in the mail or in person.  At least 3 volunteers are required to come in uniform for greeting customers, and bringing food to tables and cars.  Anyone who comes into the restaurant during that 3 hour timeframe will have 10% of their bill be paid back to the team.

The Custard Cart could be used during a car wash or in conjunction with another fundraiser or event.  Culvers will supply the custard, and the team is in charge of selling and scooping.  If it is a small event, 100% of proceeds will go to the team.  If it is a large event, like a tournament, Culvers will charge $150 for the cart and $50/tub.  Culvers recommends that toppings are also used.  They can be purchased from Culvers or somewhere else.
