11U-12U PROGRAMS (BIRTH YEARS 2014 & 2013)
OVERVIEW
At the 11U and 12U levels, emphasis is placed on mastering each individual's technical skills, including dribbling, passing, receiving, and ball striking with the ball at player's feet as much as possible.
- Sessions will continue to focus on the "tactical" side of play where players will further learn positions, structure plays, and how to play together as a team.
- There will also be heavy emphasis to the "tactical" side where players will learn positions, in-game moments, and what it takes to be part of a team
PROGRAM SPECIFICS
EPSC coaches are licensed staff members who follow a play-train-play-train model and teams will participate in the Twin Cities Soccer Leagues (TCSL) National, Regional, State, or Cities leagues.
- The 11U and 12U programs are designed to be an introduction to our older competitive programs.
- 9v9 Games (10 outfield players and 1 goalkeeper)
- Emphasis is placed on the player's individual development, as well as their team's development first rather than the score of the match.
SEASON OVERVIEW
Players have the option to opt in by season
SUMMER
April - June
- Teams train two times per week
- 10 league games (during the week)
- Two to three tournaments on weekends - in the Twin Cities area (tournament fee not included in season fee)
- Summer camp with EPSC mid-June
- Start Date: April 13th, 2025
