OVERVIEW

At the U11-U12 level, emphasis remains on individual player development while introducing larger group tactics such as 4v3, 4v4 and 5v5.

• Training becomes more challenging and encourages players to combine effectively with teammates.
• Players begin learning positional roles, in-game moments, and the responsibilities involved in being part of a team. There is an increased focus on the tactical side of the game.
  
  

PROGRAM SPECIFICS

EPSC coaches are nationally licensed and SafeSport Certified.

Teams participate in the Twin Cities Soccer Leagues (TCSL) at the National, Regional, State, or Cities Division levels.

• These programs serve as an introduction to EPSC’s older competitive pathways.
• Matches are played 9v9 (8 field players and 1 goalkeeper)
• Focus begins to shift toward outcomes based on effort and performance, rather than solely on winning and losing.
