OVERVIEW
The U9-U10 program emphasizes further development of individual technical and tactical skills through small group play. Training maximizes time on the ball while introducing game concepts.
- Training will be focused on 1v1, 2v1, and 2v2 activities to build a strong technical foundation.
- Players are Introduced to tactical concepts in small group settings such as 2v2 and 3v3.
PROGRAM SPECIFICS
EPSC coaches are licensed staff members who follow a play-train-play-train development model. Teams will participate in the Twin Cities Soccer Leagues (TCSL) Red, White, and Blue leagues.
- Teams play league matches and tournaments within the metro area.
- Matches are played 7v7 (6 field players and 1 goalkeeper)
- Emphasis is placed on individual and team development rather than the match results or scores.
